I read an article in "Focus on the Family" yesterday about respect. It was about respecting the elderly instead of throwing them away. At the end was a quote by George Washington Carver --- "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in life, you will have been all of these." |

| Holly Hobbie (Laura) April 21, 2006 04:55 PM PDT  Amen to that ....Its sad to see how many from todays generation disrespecting the ederly.....I have a great deal of respect and admiration for the elderly many have been through alot and we can learn from them....I belong to a church that is about 85 % elderly they are like my parents and grandparents too me. !! and treat me like one of their own.
